"Are you having a joint replacement surgery?  Myofascial Release (MFR)  was a game changer for my shoulder replacement recovery!   I had the surgery at age 60 but the doctor thought I was 80 (when looking at the state of my bones in the x-ray before surgery). "Last Friday my CTS (Carpal Tunnel Syndrome) flared up and that came with a whole lot of frustrations and desperate to make it feel better or even make it go away if possible since I'm totally useless without my right hand for work. I called Mascha for help hoping MFR might possibly help. She treated my right wrist for a solid hour and with her further advise on keeping it at complete rest and making sure my wrist brace on, and I didn't even take any anti inflammatory meds, in about 12 hours my hand felt a lot better. Not completely relieved from the pain but I was definitely able to lift a pen at least. Felt so much better after another day and normally when my CTS flares up it takes about at least a week and a half until my hand can function again!
